Hand dyed 100% wool yarn

A traditionally hand dyed 100% wool yarn using a Walnut shell dye bath and Alum mordant. Due to hand dyeing with natural dye there may be some variation in colour leading to a variegated colour pattern work.

This is an Aran weight yarn and knits/crochet to a UK 5mm needle/hook.

This yarn has been hand washed and thoroughly rinsed although some bleeding may still occur, The yarn has been hand twisted into skeins.

This yarn will felt. Hand washing is recommended.

The yarn is sold per 100g and there are 200g available from this dye bath.
